Meditation Class
Beginning Monday Febraury 16th Wellspring Lifestyle will offer an on-going meditation class 6pm -7pm. Though registration is recommended, drop-ins are welcomed. Fee is $50 -4 week series or $15 drop-in. This class will be taught by Joan Sichel. Her bio and class description are below. I hope to see you there.
This course teaches how to create more of a joyous and healthy lifestyle by reaching into your inner spirit as well as forming a greater appreciation of what is around you. From Ancient Yoga and Native American concepts to modern bio-feedback techniques, you’ll learn how to slow down, de-stress and increase your wellness. Each class will include a few gentle exercises and an original guided meditation. This four week program consists of: How to perform meditative movements that enhance your experience, Setting up a personal meditation space, and Creating a meditation journal.
Joan Sichel has over 30 years of experience in guided meditation. Her meditative technique and original meditation have been published nationally in Hope and Healing- Peaceful Parenting in an Uncertain World. She has also studied Pranyama, Reiki, Sanskrit and Feng Shui. Joan’s yoga philosophy is exemplified in her photo/poetic exhibits, cross-cultural editorials and involvement in global warming awareness. She resides in South Brunswick with her husband, Wayne and two daughters, Rebecca and Hannah.
