Community Supported Agriculture
I’m very excited. Griggstown Farm (5 minutes from my house) began this year a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. This is great.– local, all natural produced vegetables and herbs. For those that are unfamiliar withCSA’s, members buy a share of the yield for the season. Each week you pick up your share. Very simple. They’re also including an option to include locally sourced artisan breads and cheeses. What’s more is that you are supporting our local farms and helping to reduce the carbon footprint of the food industry by keeping your selection local. You’re also helping to stimulate our local economy. It’s awesome. If you would like to check it out for yourself go to www.griggstownfarmmarket.com
